it means that your usb cord is messed up
there may be some issues go see an apple store to check it out.
try to plug it harder in the usb port or plug in the ipod in the cable
you do not need to reboot the iPod
It depends what iPod it is, if it is a nano or classic you just go to settings on the menu and click restore to factory setting, if it is a touch or iPhone like mine, u just need to keep re plugging it in and select on itunes to say when iPod connects itunes popped up, i had the same problem, another way is once it is plugged in to go to itunes and select restore, it restores iPod so u can re sync it, that's it really
try the troubleshooting guide on the itunes because it will never sync unless itunes detect it
Make sure it's plugged in. Then, click on your iPod under the Devices tab on the left. In the bottom right hand corner, there is a button that says Sync. Click on that and it will immediately start syncing.
It is becuase you need to open your itunes and it will sync automatically, if not, sync it manually by pressing sync in the ipod tab. You can also tick the box that says "open itunes when ipod is plugged in" It's something like that. Hope this helps.
because its not plugged in
click on buy now and type the password when it says
ide personally reboot your comp with your ipod plugged in then see what happens!!
You must drag it back onto the iPod via iTunes when your iPod is plugged into the computer.
Unfortunately, no.
