1.well, sometimes its the bottom of your iPod.
the bottom of your ipod , where you plug the USB cord should have all of the little bars up. If it doesnt, then that might be your problem.
2. If your ipod is fine then maybe try charging it on a dock or on a USB wall charger. Just try to charge it in different places
