Charge it?

maybe the lock is on (side of iPod)

Click the center button and Menu (top button) at the SAME time and hold it for a while.

If none work, then I'm not sure or it's brocken

Umm....... he's talking about an iPod Touch.....not an iPod Shuffle.....
