Ireland national feelings

Ireland Why do i feel bad calling myself Irish (while I'm clearly not because i wasn't born there and 0 connection to it) and been 15 years doing that, i speak my first english accent as Irish ( english is not my tongue language) i know about Irish history and geography more than the country i was born in, i know to speak Irish and find it easier than my tongue one, I'm the only one who is my family to understand Irish accent even the Kerry one, what should i do? I haven't step one step in Ireland and calling myself irish while the irish who was born really hate someone who does the same thing as I, so really if you're an Irish what do you think? (P.S - i never call it Patty day, i know that not all Irish are drunk and love fighting, no such thing as calling every Irish a leprechaun)
