Best Answer

Gamification increases engagement by providing incentives for learners to pay attention and complete activities. The added reward, even if it is intangible, can encourage better listening and observation. When the learner is focused, they are more likely to absorb the information presented to them.

What is effective teaching?

Everyone has their own idea of effective teaching, but to be effective a teacher must 'reach' a student on every level. It is important to understand the child as a whole and be able to connect with them. It is important to constantly assess students and decide if they are understanding what you are teaching. Also, effective teachers do not just 'test' students, rather they use multiple forms of assessment. This may include projects, reading logs, worksheets, participation, and papers.
