It depends on how often you will be printing things out and what you are printing. If you are printing pictures, then expect to replace your ink cartridges fairly regularly.

Another simple way to find pictures you like is to do a search for whatever you need, then click on 'images' to see only pictures. One thing I rely heavily on is 'Snipping Tool' or 'Snagit' to 'cut' pictures for you to save.The cost of printing in color might be a bit high. Maybe you can find some old magazines and cut them out to help defray the cost.
