Is 'The Hunger Games' or 'Twilight' better?

'The Hunger Games' and the 'Twilight' saga are two very different series with nothing in common. Both have fan bases and it depends on your own personal taste as to which you prefer, it is also possible to like both series. Add any thoughts to the discussion page.

• I use to like the Twilight Saga but now I've read the Hunger Games Trilogy and I have found I like the Hunger Games a lot more. More action, which is always good. I still like the Twilight Books though, they are both good in their own ways.

• I used to love Twilight even more than Harry Potter, then I read the Hunger Games and there are no words. It was amazing and sweet and I just couldn't put it down. I took the book everywere I went and when I read the last page of Mockingjay I swear I cried it was so sweet.

• Twilight is good, but a bit boring. The Hunger Games is much more exciting and far more creative. Also, Twilight's protagonist - Bella Swan - is much more feminine and bland than the protagonist in the Hunger Games - Katniss Everdeen - who does things most women would consider 'man's work'. If you're looking for stronger, more dynamic characters, Hunger Games is better. The Hunger Games has a defined plot that makes sense, and while reading Twilight I felt it was all for the romance. Twilight seems to have little or no themes or opinions on philosophy and pressing subjects and problems that exist in the world today and potentially in a dystopian future. The Hunger Games shares intriguing insights as to how we view the world.

• I think Twilight is better, both are really good but if I had to choose I would choose Twilight.
