Is an IQ score of 124.8 good for a 17 year old girl?

i know someone who got 150 at 11years old, so 104 isn't good but it isn't bad, i'd say it is average, maybe over average.

100 is average; 104 is slightly above average. IQ has nothing to do with age. Your IQ would be the same no matter what age you were. If you got your IQ score online, it may not be accurate. It is best to take an IQ test at school or by someone who is trained to give an IQ test.

first of all, that 11-year-old you know is technically a genius therefore don't compare yourself to them. also 104 is average. completely average. it does not mean your dumb it just means your level of intelligence is at par with most Americans

100 is the mean for IQ scores so a score of 104 is somewhat above average. (Note that this would be the case for ANY age, not just 19-year-olds.)

How far above average are you? Assuming a normal (bell curve) distribution with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15 (although standard IQ tests vary somewhat in their standard deviations), about 34% of the population would have an IQ between 100 and 115 (i.e., between the mean and 1 standard deviation above the mean). A score of 104 would give you a z-score of (your score minus the mean)/standard deviation = (104-100)/15 = 4/15 = .2667, which means you are .2667 standard deviations above the mean (i.e., a little over a quarter of a standard deviation above the mean). (Note that a z-score is simply the number of standard deviations above or below the mean a particular score is; a score of 115 means a z-score of 1, which you could calculate using the above formula: (115-100)/15 = 15/15 = 1.0. Most z-scores aren't this nice and neat, but the LOGIC of z-scores is simple.) Using a z-score table (you can find them in statistics books), your z-score of .2667 corresponds to an area under the curve of about .6052, which means your score is higher than about 60.52% of people who took the test.

Even without taking your age into account, your IQ is securely in the "Superior" section. As 100 is considered to be average, you are quite a bit above that.
