40 is a little low... taken with a machine? it doesnt really matter there isn't much that can be done for a low bp. could prescribe proamatine or zoloft to bring it up but it might increase systolic too much... bottom line is you're not symptomatic then you are fine.

∙ 16y agoYeah it's pretty good but the 80 is slightly high. Blood pressure should be taken 3 different times to get a more accurate number. Also it should be done at rest.
