Well I am 12.2 stone and a tall 13 (2monthes till I am 14) year old. I always complain to my mum that I am fat - but she says that I am not.
Weight is a delicate topic and I don't this that you shold label this 14 year old as overweight. There are different factors to consider - ie : are they big boned? do they have large muscle mass? But 13 stone is a little on the heavy side...
I think it benefits everyone to excersice a little more and eat more healthy. Its worth a shot - in the long run this will result in a happy, confident young child. If you change your everyday routine to incorporate more excersice (ie - walking to and from school, working that extra bit harder in PE, going for some grapes as opposed to the wine gums) it will not be bad!

I'd say that if you're about 150 centimetres tall (or more), which is not uncommon at age 13, 7 1/2 stone wouldn't be overweight. Are you talking about a male or female? Even so, as long as they're tall enough, that wouldn't be overweight.

A little high , if you are average height (c 5ft 8) then its just a little above your ideal. 12 stone is the ideal for that height at 56 to give you a decent BMI. But 13 stone for 56 yrs is ok, its not "overweight" just wanna make sure you dont go above 13st.
