well an iPhone 3GS is only 600mhz (0.6ghz) so yes 1ghz is very good. most phone brands are going with a snapdragon 1ghz on theirr higher end models now
SNAPDRAGON Mobile Processor
The triumph is a good android touch mobile but since its only a 1Ghz processor, it won't be as fast as a dual core processor mobile. But for basic functions and browsing, this will be a good buy.
1ghz is faster then 600 mhz Edit- Not really. A 1GHz processor cycles through instructions faster, but take this for thought. What if you have Processor 1, which is at 1GHz but does 2 operations per cycle. This processor has a small L1 Cache and a high cache miss rate. Lets say this is a 16-bit processor with an 8-bit bus width (Older desktop processors) Processor 2 runs at 600MHz but does 4 operations per cycle, a large L1 Cache, and an extremely low cache miss rate. This is a 32-bit processor with a 16-bit bus width (Older server processors) Processor 2 will be more than TWICE as fast in actual performance. Don't go by the GHz / MHz readings alone.
With todays standards a 1GHz processor is something you wouldn't even find being sold in todays lowest end PCs. 1Ghz was acceptable back when people were mainly using 98 and XP, XP being one of the new OS's in the day. So no, while a 1GHz processor had its day, it is not currently considered 'good' within information technology any longer.
Mobilephone
The eMacs were discontinued in 2006. The earlier versions with a G4 processor running at less than 1GHz can run Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). The later versions with a G4 Processor running faster than 1GHz can run Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Select About this Mac from the Apple menu (top left) to determine the speed of the processor.
No. Memory is a way for the computer to store things so it can access them quickly. The processor is used to compute and crunch numbers to decide what to do. Having more memory or a faster processor are both good things, but they are completely different. A 3 ghz with one gig of ram would probably be the faster option.
no it always processes the same no matter the situation
easy. you dont take pictures
Will do its job, but its outdated
my mobilephone switched on in a blank white screen
1GHz or faster 64-bit processor. 2GB RAM Memory. 16GB Space.
