i have an 03 sonata v6 base model... maybe the GLS does but the base doesn't.... i just rely on the squeelers on the brake pads..
I had the same problem on my '99 Hyundai Sonata GLS. It was the alternator. It costs about $170 and it's about $150 to take it to Car-X and have them install it.
