My son was on concerta he was taking 38mg it worked for him but he has ADD. The more they take is a very bad thing. I would take sugar out of there diet and red #40 food coloring out and go to health food store and get Attention and give it to them 3 times a day over the summer and see how they do. Doctors just want to drug them and you lose your kids. If you need me I"m here for any one I have done my homework!
You can if you don't watch your food intake after the Concerta/Ritalin wears off. Since it is a stimulant, it usually causes a loss of appetite. After the Concerta/Ritalin wears off, there have been reports of people tending to binge eat.
yes it does in a way, the medication is used for treating ADHD. it works by balancing the hormone levels. it isn't a change that will be visual it is a mental change. it helps the glucose in your sons system go equaly to every part of his brain. there are many side affects with concerta XL but they aren't severe. i know this because i am a 16 year old young man with ADHD and i was on medication from the age of 6 to 14 then i came off of it and the change in my behaviour and daily routine was dramatic, i went through school and i barely finished, i was not on medication the whole way through year 9 to year 11 and in that time i got expelled out of 4 schools. in my own views on your son taking concerta XL i think it will be the better decision and i think it will help your son not only now but in the future as well. i am now 16 and i have made it in to college i am already a fully qualified mechanic and i am now at this time taking 98mg of concerta XL and my life is so much better since i started taking medication your son will be fine on this medication it will be for the better of him your's sincerly Charles berry
No; Concerta contains methylphenidate. Methylphenidate is considered a performance enhancing drug and should be avoided for athletes being tested for steroids since it falls into the same category of banned drugs.
Oxycodone is a strong pain medication. How well oxycodone works depends on what issue the drug is used for. Oxycodone has been used to treat moderate to severe pain since 1917.
Pain medication for acute moderate pain. Great for people who have a problem with abusing pain meds, since it contains dihydrocodiene which isn't addictive like hydrocodone
This really depends on the person since 180 pounds is averagish weight for most people. Depending on what condition Ritalin is taken for and how severe the symptoms are you could be prescribed anything from 10mg instant release to 54mg concerta (both of which are the same chemical methylphenidate). Weight plays a small part in deciding the dosage of Ritalin.
Yes, that is happening world wide at present during the pandemic since, in most people, the symptoms are considered mild for this type of flu that had a potential to have been much more severe in more subgroups. See the related questions below for information about groups at higher risk for more severe complications and hospitalization.
My teen takes concerta for ADHD. She has actually gained a few pounds since starting this medicine, but it truley has helped her stop spacing out in class and she is able to focus and has brought her grades up.
People had to carpool due to the lack of cars because of the severe need of metal for the war
Well bacteria (which cause sickness) have developed a resistance to medication since people use it a lot.
