I cannot find it except on VHS. Strangely the Abbott & Costello platinum DVD collection has twenty-eight of their films, including ones in which they were supporting players, but Captain Kidd was not among them.
The 28-film collection included ALL of A & C's films for Universal Pictures. However, they made 8 more films for different motion picture companies. Meet Captain Kidd was distributed by Warner Brothers and Warners (who also now owns RIO RITA) had planned to release both these films, as well as a re-mastered JACK AND THE BEANSTALK. However, owing to the rather poor economic climate, I believe this DVD has been held in moritorium until the retail situation improves.....
