The question does not make sense, but there is more land in the Northern than Southern, Hemisphere.
Hot deserts are found in both the northern and the southern hemispheres.
I don't know that they do, but the Southern Hemisphere is mostly ocean.
There's no "why". Both hemispheres get the same.
The Northern Hemisphere.
Your search is far more likely to succeed if you lookfor Gibraltar in the northern hemisphere.
I don't know that they do, but the Southern Hemisphere is mostly ocean.
There are more than three. In Africa there is Eqypt, Libya, Algeria, Mali, Mauritania, and Western Sahara. In South America there is Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador. There are a few others.
There are seven continents and four hemispheres. Here are the locations (this may all make more sense if you see it on a map): Africa stretches through both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, as well as the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Antarctica is in the South Pole, and within the Southern Hemisphere. It extends through the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Asia, like Africa, extends through all hemispheres. It is mostly within the Northern and Eastern hemispheres, but part of it (Indonesia, which is considered a part of the Asian continent) goes into the Southern hemisphere, while another part, Russia, extends through the Eastern hemisphere, and onward to the Western hemisphere. Australia is within the Southern and Eastern hemispheres only. Europe is mostly situated within the Eastern hemisphere, but entirely within the Northern hemisphere: the United Kingdom, France and Spain stretch into both the Eastern and Western hemispheres, while Portugal and Ireland are completely within the Western hemisphere. North America is situated entirely within the Northern hemisphere, and it also within the Western hemisphere. South America-- the equator crosses through it, so it is in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, and entirely within the Western hemisphere. I enclose a link to some maps of the continents and their locations.
Northern entirety of Europe entirety of North America entirety of Central America the vast majority of Asia more than half of Africa, just below the "horn". Southern Antarctica Africa (approximately 33% ) Australia (the entire mainland is in the southern hemisphere, although the very northern part of Raja Ampat Islands in New Guinea are in the northern hemisphere) South America (mostly, south of the Amazon River mouth in the east and Quito in the west)
Pangea move east and west. More tectonic activity. Culture is vastly different between east and west hemispheres
January is summer in the southern hemisphere. Likewise, July is winter. The seasons are reversed in the two hemispheres because the Sun can only shine more directly on either the Northern or Southern hemispheres (creating summer), due to the axial tilt of the Earth.
