When the book was originally published in 1865, it was called Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and this is still the 'official' title of the book.

However, before it was published, Lewis Carroll gave a hand-written version of the story to Alice Liddell in 1862. That was called Alice's Adventures Under Ground and was published in a facsimile edition in 1886.
