Muhammad never had any sins.

Muhammad Peace be upon Him never did sins with the very name "sins", in addition to that He is the greatest human & prophet ever & forever. The Almighty Allah says about Him in the holy Quran:

" وانك لعلى خلق عظيم "which can be translated into English as:

"And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character"

holy Quran,(68:4)

Despite all His great benevolent manners & His great treatment to even the enemies of Islam, despite His abundant sincere worship & the many many good deeds He was doing, Muhammad PBUH did ask Allah the Almighty for forgiveness. This is a lesson for us Muslims to always ask Allah for forgiveness as we are ordered also in the holy Quran. We have to always say" Astaghfero Allah" i.e. " I beseech for the forgiveness of Allah". Muhammad was repeating it a lot as narrated about Him, may Allah grant Him with peace & blessings.
