Personally I think Android is better. But that doesn't mean you can't like smartphones. Its your opinion and your choice!
PDA's are really becoming obsolete as smartphones are now taking over. Most smartphones are better than PDA's because most smartphones are able to have useful and fun apps downloaded on them and usually have more features in general than PDA's today.
Smartphones can be touch screen or not and are made by many companies. A smartphone has full internet access and is basically a handheld computer. If you use internet often, than a smartphone might be a good investment.
I guess that is all a matter of opinion. I believe there are no better phones than the Iphone 4s, but many may disagree. Currently the Iphone is rated number 1 in smartphones.
The iPhone is probably the current best of the smart phones because it has way more applications than the others, is more intuitive and user friendly, and is constructed by Apple.
Sprint provides service for Blackberry smartphones as well as many other phones. Boost mobile also is a carrier for Blackberry smartphones and is cheaper than sprint.
Smartphones can be considered mini computers and offer a variety of features not found on regular cellphones. Smartphones have an operating system similar to a computer, they allow for video conferencing, installing applications, GPS navigation, email client and usually have larger screens. Oh, and they can make calls too.Regular Cellular Phones are generally used to make voice calls and sent text messages and are not as robust as a smartphone. They may offer some features found on smartphones but they are usually limited in functionality.
They have faster processors, more memory, greater storage space, bigger displays, more advanced OS´s that handle true multi tasking etc
People who are smarter than Iphone users)
To become more intelligent than the human race
The HTC One Series are smartphone models. They are really good and they use the Android Operating System which is really popular now and some say better than the iPhone.
Smartphones function, basically, as a handheld computer that can also make phone calls. Within the limits of their small size and limited input capabilities they can do many of the same things you can do on your home computer.
At the present time, there are no smartphones that have a screen larger than 6 inches. But Samsung is announcing the coming of the Galaxy Mega, a smartphone that comes in the choice of a 5.8-inch model, or a 6.3-inch model.
