Ice shelves attached to the continent, however, are being melted underneath by warming ocean waters. This causes the ice shelf to disintegrate eventually.

∙ 13y agoAAntarctica is like a desert just thick ice. Take your gloves off and your fingers will freeze within seconds touch any thing then you are instantly stuck. Scientists come and g as they please damaging Antarctica by snapshots and intruding on the animals homes. On the food chain sperm whales are at the top follwed by seals, penguins , birds and fish.
