No, Avenged Sevenfold's song Afterlife was never in a Transformers movie. However, Avenged Sevenfold's song Almost Easy is on the soundtrack for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. It was going to be on the Transformers: The Album, but the song was not yet ready.
It did not appear on their newest album Nightmare, but if they make a new album it may appear on it.

Avenged Sevenfold just released Nightmare in 2010, so they probably won't be going back to the studio until 2012.
At the moment, Avenged Sevenfold's new drummer remains unknown. However, the drummer will be on tour with the band starting in January 2011.
They have a CD/DVD called "Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough", that was released on September 16th in 2008, the CD is has some B-sides that didn't make the cut for 2007's self-titled album. The DVD has footage from their first ever live-filmed concert (filmed in Long Beach, California on April 10th in 2008). They have also stated that they will be writing and recording a follow up album to Avenged Sevenfold after they get done touring.
No, Avenged Sevenfold is not coming to Florida anytime soon. They are currently doing their Nightmare After Christmas Tour. And as of January 2011, they have not yet released dates for upcoming tours.
