Yes, Banana Republic and Old Navy are brands of GAP. Gap was founded by both Donald G. Fisher and Doris F. Fisher, who purchased Banana Republic in 1983. Donald G. Fisher passed away in the year 2009, but Glenn K. Murphy is the current CEO of the company.
