No, he is not. Whether you agree with his politics or not, it is not accurate to blame him for the world financial crisis, which began long before he ever took office; in our global society, problems in other countries can have a severe impact on the US. It is also not accurate to say he is causing "financial chaos." Rather, most neutral observers believe he prevented the United States from falling into another Depression. Mr. Obama inherited a serious financial crisis from his predecessor, President Bush, and while both Republicans and Democrats continue to debate what went wrong and what should have been done, there is no evidence that Mr. Obama has made things worse. Further, in the American system of government, a president is not all-powerful, so even a strong president who wants (and gets) lots of authority to enact his agenda, still has to work with congress and the Supreme Court.
