Yes, Cartoon Network Illustrated is finally going to come up with a monthly comic book magazine that has 6 issues per month, and will finally start with approx. 72 issues per year starting around January 2016. Featuring in that magazine are revivals of comic book series adaptations of many of Cartoon Network's original shows, as well as almost all of the classic Warner Bros. cartoon characters whose appearances come from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, numerous DC Comics franchises (including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Justice Kids, Justice League, Green Lantern, and Teen Titans), and comic book series adaptations of Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry from Hanna-Barbera, and a grand revival of the "Ben 10" franchise in the DC Universe style titled "Ben 10: X!", among a few of the magazine's original comics series; each issue has approx. 800 pages (which includes 12 comic book stories with 30 pages each). It will be launched due to the revival of America's print magazine industry, which is finally being part of "The World's Grand Revival" (being created around the end of May and beginning of June from this year). It is definitely happening around both 2015 and 2016; also, news will be reported and sources will be given very soon.
There are currently no announced plans for Cartoon Network Illustrated to become a monthly comic book magazine. However, Cartoon Network has a history of collaborations with various comic book publishers, so it's possible they may explore this in the future.
