Is Charles Babbage the one who discovered the first computer?

Charles Babbage was the one who originated the concept of a programmable computer and he was called "The Father of the Computer" because Charles is credited with inventing the first mechanical computer that eventually led to more complex designs. Charles Babbage is not the first one who first invented the computer because the first computers were people!
