Wyoming has one state capital, Cheyenne.Wyoming has one capital letter, the letter 'W'.Wyoming only has one state capital, Cheyenne.
Cheyenne was the capital of the Wyoming Territory and, since it was the only city in the state of Wyoming of any substance, it remained as the capital of the state of Wyoming. The location of Cheyenne is in the lower south east corner of the state, only minutes from the Colorado border. The significance of the location has to do with it being a stop on the Oregon and Mormon trail. It is also located close to water and eventually became a major stop for the Union Pacific railroad. It lead straight into Salt Lake, Utah or north to Oregon via South Pass Wyoming. As in most major cities that eventually became the capital, it started out as a stop for settlers within Indian country looking for shelter, food or trade.
Currently, only the Shoshone and the Arapahoe tribes live in Wyoming, on the Wind River Reservation. In the past, the Cheyenne lived in eastern Wyoming, the Ute in south-central Wyoming, and the Crow in north-central Wyoming.
Yes, there are indeed towns in Wyoming. Cheyenne is the capitol with a population of 59,466 in the 2010 US Census. This is only the largest city -- there are many other towns throughout the state.
No. The only other capital England has ever had is Winchester.
The only way to determine who the bookkeeper at the Singer Store in Cheyenne, Wyoming was in 1957 is to contact Cheyenne's public record keeper. Public records should contain information like that even farther back than 1957, or you can contact the store itself.
There were 4 original Native American Tribe in the state of Wyoming, starting with; The Arapaho tribe, Cheyenne, Crow, and Shoshone. Today the only 2 federally recognized tribes in Wyoming are the Arapaho and Shoshone Tribes. They both share a single Indian Reservation, called Wind River Reservation.
Australia has only ever had one capital city, and that is Canberra. There is no new or old capital.
Yes but seem to be rare. Only to be found in the dirtiest of dirty houses. I'm a Cop in Cheyenne and have only seen cockroaches in an insanely obese woman's house which was a disgusting pig sty. I've lived in Cheyenne since 1987 and that's the only time Ive seen them. They were smaller though, not like the big ones in the South or back East.
Havana is the first and only capital Cuba has ever had.
