Do you mean monotheistic?

Monolithic would mean that all of the sects are centered around a single pillar (a monolith), or it could be monolithic in the sense of being very large.

Although Christianity is centered around a non-physical pillar of faith, it isn't a monolith. It is very large, but there are larger faiths, so in that sense it wouldn't be monolithic.

It is however, a monotheistic religion where one God is worshiped; even though there are other holy figures in different sects (Saints, Mary, etc), they primarily stand as mediators rather than objects of worship.

___

Christendom is defined by many as having the belief that Christ is the Son of God. Also his sacrifice is what allows men to enter into Heaven.

Now there are a few sects and many denominations of Christendom, but so long as that group believe Christ is the Son of God and by His sacrifice they are atoned for - I would surmise they are in Christendom.
