Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' BIRTH, NOT his death.

It should be noted that Jesus was not born on December 25th, we are not told his birthdate in any of the gospel accounts. although we can make educated guesses. The months of the year were different at that time, so errors in the calandar could be to blame. It has been said that the 25th December was chosen as Hannukah was at this time. also, the winter solstice- the symbolism of the dying & rising of the sun...this is linked to Jesus.

Easter is when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus when was crucified at Golgotha then rose again on the third day.

The actual death of Jesus is not celebrated, but the resurrection & ascension is. The resurection is called Easter, and when He died on the cross, it is called ' Good Friday'.

Partly true, except that you state the actual death is not celebrated. On the very next line you state when he died on the cross, it's called Good Friday. Good Friday IS celebrated, and is in fact a statutory holiday in many countries.

In addition, Hannukah is NOT celebrated on December 25. The eighth day of Hannukah is already passed by Christmas. Hannukah is also a MUCH more modern holiday than Christmas. Hannukah was only celebrated by the most orthodox Jews in ancient times.
