Why is does everyone say Claires is a bad place to get your ears pierce?
People assume that Claires is a bad place to get your ears pierced because they use piercing guns, which are bad- not true. I got my ears pierced at Claires and have never had a problem with them.

Getting your ears pierced at Claire's is: 1. Unsanitary. 2. Not safe. The people there are not professional piercers. They reuse the same piercing gun on everyone. That's gross. Go to a tattoo/body piecing shop. Research and make sure that the shop is clean and has a good reputation in your community.

Be smart with your piercings and your health and see an actual Professional Body Piercer. Technically they say that the piercing is free and you have to pay for the jewelery. But since they use guns, they have to use the jewelry to pierce your ears. So, ultimately, you do have to pay. If I were you, I wouldn't go to claires. They aren't professionals and guns are HORRIBLE. I could rant on this forever but just do some google searches and I"m sure that you won't use a gun.

yes, but only if they use needles. The Claire's I go to does. If they use guns, then you should go to a doctor or piercing shop. No matter where you get them pierced always clean and twist them.
