Something blocks your line of sight. On a road it could be hills, curves, etc.
TV transmission from one antenna to other antenna is a clear example of line of sight communication.
the high frequency, it is in VHF band.
you can check by a sight glass tube on the side of the transaxle, it is a sealed transmission! remember if you have more than 100,000 miles on it don't flush the transmission!!!
Its got a sight glass on side of transmission! There is no dip stick
The main limitations to Microwave transmission is the fact that it needs line of sight and that it can be subject to interference such as planes passing over, or rain
There is no dip stick. There is a small sight glass about the size of a quarter or so, on the back side of the transmission housing......up towards the top
WiMAX
The 2007 Malibu has a sealed transmission, hence no dip stick. There is a inspection plug on the drivers side of the transmission/trans axel. When removing the inspection/sight plug be sure the engine is running and in park. When the fluid level, Dextron 6, is correct, fluid will weep out of the sight plug hole. Fill as necessary, replace inspection plug and then turn engine off. You are good to go.
unbolt transmission oil pan, if it has drain plug drain oil first, if not unbolt it and drain it, filter will be right in sight, pull it off, push new one up there
Theres a sight window under the car. U can see the level threw that little window.
