Disney has announced plans to make several additional movies including Star Wars 7, 8 and 9 as well as spin off movies relating to individual characters such as Yoda, and Boba Fett which would take place either before or during the time lines of the first 6 movies. George Lucas is now on the board of directors for Disney but has no direct ownership of anything Star Wars related. JJ Abrams is currently slated to direct Star Wars 7.
