The FBI has countless jobs that are administrative and there are also the "field" jobs. These jobs are general Field Agents or the FBI's highly trained HRT (Hostage Rescue Team). These two areas do inherit danger just as a police officer would encounter due to the fact that you are dealing with criminals and fugitives many who will do anything to avoid getting caught include causing harm to those attempting to do so. So, yes some FBI jobs can be very dangerous but on the other hand others can be no more dangerous than a general business man's job.
