FIDM is most definitely a college but what makes them different from other CSU's and UC's is they are a speciality college which specializes in the fashion and entertainment industries. They offer A.A's and have a killer bachelor of science in business management program. They also offer professional designation degree programs and advanced study programs.
FIDM doesn't have a "college motto" per say but they do have a mission statement which can be found on their website. Hope this helps!
My friends graduated from FIDM and they went straight to FIDM after graduating from high school and from what I hear, a lot of students go straight from high school to FIDM. Other transfer from community college or even seek out FIDM for a professional designation degree if they already have a college degree. Hope this helps :)
FIDM stands for Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. They are a fashion college in Los Angeles and they have a website you can also check out :)
Well as you can imagine, there are A LOT of faculty members at FIDM and they have a wide range of backgrounds. Your best option is to check out FIDM's webpage and there's a list of all their faculty members. They have a wide variety of educational and career experiences which is great because each person has something unique to bring to FIDM students in the classroom!
I have friends who graduated from FIDM and they told me that FIDM has a bachelor of science in business management program that's great because it focuses on the business side of the fashion and entertainment industries.
FIDM is a private, specialized college. They have a wide range of successful graduates and offer 20 programs at four different campuses. They are also accredited by WASC and NASAD. For more information, visit FIDM's website.
FIDM is close to Hollywood and it's also close to the beach and the mountains as well! My friends graduated from FIDM and they not only loved downtown LA and FIDM, but they spent their weekends visiting the beach and the mountains. There's also lots of great shopping places and landmarks around FIDM to visit. If you're looking into FIDM as a potential college, it's a great choice :) Good luck!

FIDM dosn't have a mascot. They're not like a mainstream CSU or UC. They're a specialized fashion college with other programs that focus on the graphic design and entertainment industries.
FIDM is a four year private college. They have associate of arts degrees, a bachelor of science degree and professional designation degrees. FIDM doesn't really fit into the category of a CSU or a UC because they are a speciality college. If you're wanting a career in the fashion, entertainment or graphic/interior design industries then it's a great school because it is so specialized :)
This is a great question but I'm sure it's stated on FIDM's website but I would say that FIDM was founded around the late 1960's which was pretty cool because the president even saw a need way back in the day for a college that complemented the fashion and entertainment industries :)
