No it is not participating
Fiji
Fiji first participated at the Commonwealth Games in 1938.
Fiji was not allowed to attend the Commonwealth games because their membership in the Commonwealth has been suspended because they had been unable to come up with a timeline to hold 'credible' democratic elections by October 2010
Fiji.
Fifteen Commonwealth Games nations are Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Jamaica, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Fiji, India, South Africa, Bermuda, Canada, Malaysia and Nigeria.
I think the question should be why did Fiji not participate not Fizi. The answer in respect to why did Fiji not compete was they were suspended from the Commonwealth.
Because the Fijian government failed to have an election and was suspended from the Commonwealth of Nations. The democratically elected government of Fiji was forcefully removed by the Fiji Military Forces and is currently under a military government led by Commodore Frank Bainimarama.
Fiji first competed at the 1956 Summer Games in Melbourne. Hector Hatch represented the country in boxing at the 1956 Games.
No athletes from Fiji are competing in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
