No. many of the events that happen during forrest's life are true, be he himself is fictional.
frorest frorest
the movie was not a true story, therfore he never did die
Yeah. It is based on a true story
Forrest Gump was inspired by real life war hero Sammy Davis.
The most prevelent message in the story of Gump is that although he was "challenged" mentally Gump always prevailed.
Gump was able to overcome great odds and still maintain his purity.
No, the movie Forrest Gump did not reveal the true identity of a mentally retarded person.
True.
Not really true. It is based on a novel (fictional) by Winston Groom. //Actually, the character Forrest Gump was inspired by a decorated war hero named Samuel Davis. But Davis was not a shrimp boat captain, champion ping pong player or college graduate.//
There are many histoical events within the movie such as: The US Presidents, the Viet Nam War, the opening of relations to mainland China, civil rights activism, the computer age. All of these are historical facts. Actor Tom Hanks would not accept the role of Gump unless the historical events were accurate.
No but it was a great story anyway.
As is true for many people that are considered 'different', Gump has suffered cruelty by unthinking and inconsiderate people. But he always rises above it all and triumphs in the end.
