Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream are 2 totally different things. What it basically comes down to is that ice cream is way more fattening and has no yogurt at all in it. Frozen Yogurt is literally just yogurt that's frozen.
In general, yes. Of course, it isn't gonna be healthy if you scarf down a whole frozen yogurt carton or pile on a bunch of candy as toppings. But it's definitely a better choice than ice cream! (:
No, I dont think so. Frozen Yogurt isn't completely frozen hard, it's made colder and thicker. When you freeze it i guess you could time it so it's not too frozen, then it might be similar.
Frozen yogurt is made from yogurt while ice cream is made from cream. Frozen yogurt is lower in fat and calories than regular ice cream.
No.
Frozen yogurt is simply its name, yogurt that is frozen.
It isn't like ice cream, it is more tart. And it is lower in fat due to using pure milk instead of cream.
They are the same because they both make great sweet cold desserts, and they can taste pretty similar. They are different because ice cream base is cream, and frozen yogurt base is yogurt.
A bit, ive tried (on mistake actually, You know when you accidently let it slide to the back and it freezes?) I think frozen yogurt is softer tbh. though it melts way faster.
Yes, frozen yogurt can be considered an ice cream. Frozen yogurt is just way more healthier.
Frozen yogurt is a little healthier and less fatty than ice cream.
There are a few benefits of choosing frozen yogurt over ice cream. It's lower in fat content because of the use of milk rather than heavy cream which is used in ice cream. Ice cream contains a lot more sugar and frozen yogurt offers more minerals and nutrients for being healthy.
nope one is frozen and the other isn't. same taste tho
by eating ice cream and or frozen yogurt at the same time but you could be watching Fred the movie while eating and then choke by laughing so much that you may possibly pass out on your kitchen floor.:)
Yes and No. The texture of the sour cream won't be the same as when frozen. The contents separate when thawed. You may stir it back up, but it will remain a bit runny and won't be the same.
I get the same thing from Ice Cream and Yogurt. Not sure about milk because I don't ever drink milk. I wonder if it is an allergy symptom??
You probably need:(2) thermometersice cream [make sure the amount is equal to below]frozen yogurt [make sure the amount is equal to above]source of solar energy (sun or lamp)timerYou'll need different variables as well. A constant variable should be that you begin the 'melting process' at the same time for both foods.Materials can vary, it really depends on what you have and what you can get.
From what I could find on the web, heavy cream and heavy whipping cream are the same thing. I was looking because my homemade vanilla ice cream tastes like frozen whipped cream, and I don't that flavor. I thought that there must be a difference, but every site I've been to says they are the same thing.
No, they are not the same thing.
The spelling.Quite literally they refer to the same thing. The original spelling is sherbet. Through years of translation and modern misinterpretation sherbert has become it's name in some parts of the world.Sherbet derives its name from Sharbat; which was originally a non-alcoholic fruit drink blended with ice.Sharbat evolved into both sorbet and sherbet.A sorbet takes the basic ingredients of a sharbat and blends the fruit and ice into a smoother firmer texture.A sherbet takes it one step further and blends it with dairy or eggs.A sherbet contains between 2% and 5% dairy.Using this same process but increasing the dairy content (and optionally removing the fruit juice) and if you go beyond 5% dairy you create ice cream. Replace the cream with yogurt and you have frozen yogurt.
You can give them yogurt chips for hamsters, and you can give them rabbit yogurt chips,. (there the same basic thing....)
yes. Sour cream is made by adding live yogurt cultures to heavy cream and leaving it at room temp for a few days. You can either add some plain yogurt to your cream and leave it out for a few days, or you can add a touch of lemon juice to your recipe with the heavy cream. Personally, I substitute plain yogurt for the lower fat content, and it tastes the same.
the matter would be the same.
