Hashem literally means "the Name" and is a reverential title used by Jews to refer to God without saying a more religious or spiritual title. Many religious Jews refer to God as Hashem in order to avoid unnecessarily using one of God's actual names in daily conversation.

Jews believe in the God of Abraham. God has several names that relate to different characteristics.

Jews believe that God is a unity, not a trinity.

The Jews believe in one ethical God who created the universe (though how modern Jews understand God varies greatly).

According to Jewish law and custom, the true name of God is never pronounced, though many Christians do not have this prohibition, and do not even realize that the Jews still follow this prohibition.

The one followed by believers in Judaism is not Jewish nor any religion. This is because HaShem is not a person.

It is also important to note that Jews believe that the God they worship is the same God that everyone else should worship. He is not a God that is exclusive to Jews.

Jews worship the Creator of the universe, to whom we refer by a number of names and attributes. Hashem is one of the words we use for this purpose. See also the Related Link.
