Just to clarify your question, with a DUO HD receiver, the TV connected directly to the receiver will give you HD (if you have HD programming on the account) using a component or HDMI cable. TV 2 would be SD. So in answer to your question, NO you can't have HD on 2 TVs without 2 separate HD receivers.
