If you are referring to the book "The Fall of Reach", then no. The fall of Reach is what started the Halo events in the Halo universe, and isn't limited to the events which happened through the book. While the book focuses on a broad view of the Spartan II's and their near-extinction, the game focuses on a single team of Spartan III's, Noble Team. Spartan 259-Carter is Noble 1 and the leader of the team. The rest are as follows: Spartan 320-Kat (Noble 2), Spartan 266-Jun (Noble 3 and sniper), Spartan 239-Emile (Noble 4 and close-quarters expert), Spartan 052-Jorge (Noble 5 and only Spartan II in Noble Team), and Spartan [Your choice]-[Insert name here] (Noble 6, The player). While it is based off of the events that surround the fall of Reach, it isn't directly based off of the book.
Yes. Halo 3 is better. There is a book called Halo fall of reach and the game halo reach went totally off the storyline from the book
The books are based of the game (says in the back of the book) lol Their mostly for true halo fans that give them tons of back story of the characters in halo Example: you learn how John (aka Master Chief) came to be. fall of reach is before halo 1, the flood is halo 1, first cotact between halo 1 and halo 2, ghosts of onyx im not sure, contact harvest before halo 1 and just before halo wars, cole protocall i havent read yet.
no
Yes, you do.
no
the whole game is based upon the fall of reach. and masterchief is the only spartan left so yeah noble team is not supposed to survive. EDIT: Noble team does die, but Master Chief is not the only Spartan II soldier alive. Read in the books of Halo: Fall of Reach, Uprising etc EDIT2:All of Noble team dies except for Jun (Team Sniper) who escorts the scientist off reach to Shield planet where more then likely the next halo will take place. So no though Master Chief and his big ego survived the Spartan Program on Reach, He wasn't the only one.
Halo 4 do you mean Halo 3 ODST? It isn't out for PC yet.
Halo: Reach is the ending of the Halo games, it shows that the halo games were a story. It started with the first one, and they were all looking for the Halo which you find in the en of the game. There won't be anymore Halo games so that's why your spartan finally died in the ending and the Covenant was pushed off of planet Reach
no you can not but there isn't that much really
n-o spells no
Reach dosent have an option to turn off blood.
Yes because it is almost the very beginning of the halo series. It would help to have halo: combat evolved because the events of Halo Reach takes place 20 years prior to the events of halo: combat evolved. the first halo stems right off of Halo Reach. By itself it is a fantastic game
