He didn't all actors in Harry Potter were picked by the casting director, Fiona Wier. She choose Emma Watson because she thought she was the best. Emma's drama teacher suggested she audition for the role when the casters went around the schools. She auditioned in her school gym and said it was just like a normal drama lesson. When Christopher Columbus and JK Rowling saw her audition tape, they knew she was perfect for the role. Emma had to audition a couple more times with young actors, so they could find the right Ron Weasley and Harry Potter.

Depends on your definition of 'cool'. If you like Harry Potter, watch A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Sequel. If you like things like Space films, watch Starship. There is one call Me and My Dick which I am in the process of watching, that's a comedy about a virgin who wishes to have sex but his penis is causing problems. I would recommend it if you are intersting in these sort of things. They do produce funy comedies and parodies and are a great drama company. But, if you hate musicals, don't watch them.
Emma Watson became famous in the Acting Branch when her drama teacher recommended her for the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, when she was a mere nine years old. My personal opinion is that if you are into Harry Potter and Percy Jackson's mythical creatures and dramatic outcomes, you should consider The Lord Of The Rings. If you're into the drama and crime, I'd lean towards The Artemis Fowl series. I hope this helps you!
