While Harry Potter never directly deals with religion, there are many christian influences to be found within the series as a whole. John Granger has even written a book on the subject, entitled Looking for God in Harry Potter. Other books of a similar nature exist.
In the graveyard featured in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry sees tombstones that have Biblical quotes on them. JK Rowling says that the Harry Potter books are "very British books," and therefore would logically reference Biblical quotes when dealing with death. She went on to say that the two quotes on the tombstones sum up the series as a whole. "To me, the religious parallels have always been obvious." JK Rowling herself struggles with faith sometimes, as do we all. But Harry Potter is definitely a pro-christian series.
