It is made in the Cognac region of France from specific grapes grown in highly suitable chalky terrain that makes wonderful flavors. The wine from these grapes are then distilled 2 times and stored in specific oak barrels for different periods, XO varieties sometimes up to 25 years. Needless to say, this produces a smooth cognac that anyone who enjoys a good cognac will treasure.
