I remember one called, "Huckleberry Hound". It was on around 1960, or in the early 1960s. I think Huckleberry Hound was a southern dog, with a smaller dog assistant. My memory of it is pretty hazy. I didn't really care for it very much, it was so silly.

I don't believe Huckleberry had a sidekick as in Yogi and Boo Boo for that matter when Yogi was introduced to the "oh my Darling, clementine" balladeer's show Yogi would go on to great heights than perhaps Huck. Episodes of this television series begin and end with a Huckleberry cartoon. Sandwiched between them is a cartoon with two mischievous mice, Pixie and Dixie and a cantankerous cat named Mr. Jinks
