As far as I'm aware, it's growing because it is sat on a plate boundary, the boundary between the North American and Eurasian plates. These plates move apart, technically stretching the island. This is all I know. Hope this helps.
Iceland is sitting upon the ridge (causing alot of volcanic and geothermal activity) where the Eurasian and North American plates meet. Actually, not 'meet' but move apart. There's a geothermal power plant (Nesjavellir) built in the 1980s in it, and (i've seen this) about 10 metres off the center of the plant, in 'zhe big hallway thing' you can see a half meter wide gap in the wall.. Though it's been filled with fairy toothpaste. Iceland has widened several meters over the centuries. 34 actually since the Norse settlement of Iceland.
Iceland is a fairly young country with plenty volcanoes. When volcanoes erupt, the lava cools to form land explaining why Iceland is slowly becoming larger. If you mean population then I'm not sure. Maybe because people think it's pretty and like to move there . . . I hope my answer helps you.
Iceland gets about 4 centimeters wider every year. This happens because molten material is rising to the surface underneath Iceland because the tectonic plates below are moving apart.
Iceland is continually growing because of volcanic activity. As the lava erupts and runs into the sea, it cools and becomes solid land.
its because it is sat on a tectonic plate and the plates are moving so Iceland would be moving.
Iceland was formed by underwater volcanoes and is getting bigger from more volcano eruptions
iceland is BIGGER because the ice will keep growing and growing making it the most biggest until hawaii gets a volcanoe to erupt to make bigger land iceland will be the biggest

in the year 2005 430.000 people visited Iceland but it has been growing every year but I dont know the numbers in 2008.
There are many volcanoes in Iceland because the country is situated on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge where new oceanic crust is being formed all the time. Iceland is one of the few countries in the world which is growing in size every year.
Not as dangerous as the first one but they still hold a potential threat against iceland and its peopl

The land of frost and fire refers to Iceland and likely comes from the book "Iceland: Land of Fire and Frost" by Olive Murray Chapman. It details the adventures of a woman who crossed Iceland on horseback while the terrain still lacked adequate roads.
