it is warm but wind makes it cold
If the cold front collides with warm, humid air it can produce rain.
It depends on if you mean heavy rain or light rain. If you mean heavy rain then when a cold air mass rises over a warm air mas. If you mean light rain then when a warm air mass rises over a warm air mass.
Both warm and cold fronts produce rain.
Rain

Rain is caused when the precipitation forms into clouds and the clouds get heavy and if it is cold enough then it will snow or if it is warm the it will rain.
A mass of cold air replacing warm air is called a 'cold front', - this usually causes rain.
stationary fronts would most likely be responsible for several days of rain and clouds.
it means when a front is been moved up one then it becomes a warm front if it is moved down one it means a cold front
One of two things are created when a cold air mass meets a warm air mass. The most common thing that is created is a cold front with the cold are rising over the warm. This can cause a line of rain and storms to break out. The other is the creation of a warm front, which is more like the warm air nudging in under the cold air. This too can create rain but it is usually less turbulent.
Cold front: Brings thunderstorms ,snow, heavy rain, and cold dry air Warm front: Brings drizzly rain then clear weather, warm and humid air
