Answer!Although Jacob does become a werewolf it doesnt exactly mean he is immortal!
any twilight super fan (such as myself) would know that if jacob, for some reason, would want to start growing old again he could! All he would have to do was stop shifting for a time and eventually he would grow old again so techincally he doesn't become immortal.

They dislike each other intensely. Jacob doesn't like Edward because he is stealing Bella away from him. He also doesn't like him because he is going to turn Bella in to a vampire. Making him and Bella immortal enemies. Edward doesn't like Jacob because Jacob is trying to steal away Bella. But he does say in Eclipse that if Jacob weren't trying to steal his reason for existing he may actually like Jacob.

However, when vampires leave and Jacob is able to exercise a great amount of control and not make the change, he will resume the aging process.In short, no, he is not immortal, but as long as he changes into his werewolf form, he will not age.
