Best Answer

Democrat.

James Clyburn is a congressman representing the state of South Carolina.

He is known for his most recent statement stating that any opposition to the stimulus bill is a "slap in the face" to black people. This is a real quote from him, however his idea is not true. Opposition to the stimulus bill can not be linked back to racism. Many people, including African-American citizens oppose this spending bill because this will have an effect on black, white, hispanic, indian, asian, and any other race you can think of that lives in the lives in the U.S.
