When Jesus was baptized he was being baptized into priest hood, not repenting his sins. And instead of being anointed with oil in the creek he was anointed with the holy spirit.

∙ 11y agoJesus have not ever sinned.He is perfect in every way. When Jesus died on the cross, he took all our sins upon him (you can think as it has him "downloading" all the sind of mankind past, present and future) The thing Jesus want more than anything is to be in relationship with you. They love us and are always there for you no matter what.

∙ 12y agoIn Mark chapter 7, Jesus was being racist when he called Gentiles 'dogs' and only agreed to help a Gentile woman when she humbly accepted that description. The story in which Jesus cursed the fig tree for not providing him fruit out of season, shows Jesus at his most irrational or ill-tempered. Mark 8:18 has Jesus complaining because the disciples still did not understand his miracles.

∙ 7y agoIt is a tenet of Christian faith that Jesus was without sin. But was he sinless when he sent someone's herd of swine to their deaths (Mark 5:13)? Was he sinless when he cursed the fig tree for not bearing fruit out of season, and depriving the owner of a useful asset?
