I think Jesus is both - prophet to the Muslims and god to the Christians.
Both cannot be correct one must be right and one must be wrong.
If the Christians are correct with their belief (John 10:30) - the Muslims will have some explaining to do.
If the Muslims are correct with their belief (John 17:3) - the Christians will have some explaining to do.
The Muslims consider Jesus as a another prophet , and not as the son of god or as the savior of the world from their sin.
Neither. He is a Muslim prophet. Judaism does not recognized Jesus as anything more than a heretic. Christianity recognizes Jesus as the Son of God / Messiah and he is, therefore, far more than a prophet.
Islam bleaves Jesus is a prophet of god and christian bleaves he is a god
Jesus is not god, he is the son of god, if you believe. he is the prophet of the christian faith, if you do not believe he is or was the Prophet of Christianity then you are in fact not a christian.
The Christian view is that Jesus was not a prophet, he was the son of God. In Islam, both Jesus and Muhammad are considered prophets.
According to the Qur'an, Jesus was the penultimate prophet of God, who revealed the Gospel to humanity.
Yes, you really should! Jesus is amazing. He gives you hope that no other God can. He loves and created you.
no because he was just a prophet and if he was son of god then prophet Adam also didnt had a father then why is not he called son of god
Muslims, most people that are not Christian.
Jesus is the Messiah and was Muslim as he called to full surrender (Islam in Arabic) to God; the Creator. However, if you mean the prophet of Islam per Quran God revelation, then he is prophet Muhammad.
From a Christian perspective, Jesus would win hands down. Moses was merely a prophet; Mohammed was a false prophet; but Jesus is God in human flesh. God always "wins" over a mere mortal. Both the Jewish (Moses) and the Muslim (Mohammed) would say their greatest individual would win.
Yes, Islam acknowledges Jesus as a messenger of God, referred to as Isa in the Quran. However, Islam does not consider Jesus to be the son of God or divine, but rather a prophet with a message for the people of his time. Muslims believe in his virgin birth and miracles, and respect him as an important figure in Islam.
