Jesus could be a true person - historians are not sure, but assume that he probably did exist. As to his divinity, that is a matter of belief. Christians say he really is the Son of God, others say that if he really did exist he was just a man.
Just as the belief that God exists is a matter of faith alone, so also the belief that Jesus is God is a matter of faith, based largely on the Gospel of John.
He did. Technically, the Jews were God's chosen people, but Jesus' mission was to save all mankind, not just a chosen few. So no matter a person's race, sex, social standing, ect. we all have the chance to eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Jesus was the only person to have died for the sins of the world.
Use your reason. Would an all wise, just and loving God punish someone for not believing an anti-rational story about a man who was born of a virgin and rose from the dead? Belief in Jesus is largely cultural; 2/3 of the people on this earth do not believe in the divinity of Jesus. Belief in Jesus does not necessarily make one a better person. If God tortures someone for all eternity for not belonging to the Christian club, He/She surely hates most of humanity.
It would be fair to say just the opposite is the belief of Christians.
No. But it is good to use your life to help other people for the better. But you don't 'become your own Jesus'. Jesus was a real person in history. He was the son of God. He came down from a life in heaven. He then died for all mankind. Those are things that could never apply to just anyone who uses their life to change the world. According to the Bible, Jesus was also not out to 'reform' the world 'socially'. He came to teach mankind about Jehovah God, the Almighty, the Creator. He came to help mankind understand how to draw close to God. Then He died, and used the value of his sacrifice to repurchase mankind back from the slavery into which our foreparents, Adam & Eve sold us into. Jesus also realized that the world is not 'reformable'. But instead Jesus will 'JUDGE' the world and excecute all who have not obeyed his father, Jehovah God.
There the same person. Mankind is just one of the personalities in wrestling that Mick Foly has adopted. Just like Cactus Jack is also one of Mick's personalities. There all at the end are just Mick Foly
For those called 'nonbelievers', the death of Jesus is of no interest - they may have their own path to paradise. If there was a purpose at all in Jesus' death, it was for the sins of believers.
Jesus Christ is just and brings justice, but there is no person of that name - Jesus Justice - in the KJV Bible
this isn't known, it is just faith. like catholics don't know if God created the universe, but it is our belief.
Both; real and myth
It is not terribly hard for them to understand the belief; most Muslims are aware of how Christians have ascribed divinity to Jesus. They just disagree with the belief because the Qur'an holds that Jesus was not God, the Son of God, or some other Divinity. The Qur'an states quite clearly that Jesus was a Prophet, an important prophet, but nothing beyond human.
