Jiang Zemin (1926- ) is currently not the President of the People's Republic of China. He served as president from 1993 to 2003. Jiang also served as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China from 1989 to 2002, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission from 1989-2004. He was considered "paramount leader" from 1992 to 2004.
The current president of the People's Republic of China is Hu Jintao (1942- ). He, like Jiang Zemin was, is considered a "paramount leader" because he holds the top position in the 3 branches of government in China.
As of 2021, Ji-Li Jiang is still alive. She is a Chinese-American author known for her memoir "Red Scarf Girl," which details her experiences during the Cultural Revolution in China.
Yes the Great Wall of China Does still exist.
Hu Jintao has changed the communist party a great deal for the better and has ended any forms of censorship. however despite what his personal wishes may be on the subject the single party structure of the people's republic will not be easy to change and there are still many supporters of Hu's predecessor Jiang Zemin who do not want to see much change. Hu not a dictator in the sense that he does not at all hold absolute power as well
The president is still the president.

The only country left in the world with a Monarch who bears the title of Emperor is that of Japan. Countries which, in the past, had emperors are that of: China, Ethiopia, Mongolia, Vietnam and Korea.
The Great Wall of China no longer serves its original military purpose, but it is a tourist attraction, so in that sense it still has a use.
